Connecticut to Massachusetts Section Hike
The geographic names for this section of trail are - The Berkshires: As you head north from Connecticut into Massachusetts, you enter the Berkshire region. Thru-hikers and locals broadly refer to the Massachusetts section as hiking "The Berkshires" - The Taconic Range: The actual border area itself—where you climb over Bear Mountain (CT's highest peak) and drop into Sage’s Ravine before climbing Mount Race and Mount Everett in Massachusetts—is part of the South Taconic Range. Leaving Manhattan Harlem 125th Street Wingdale, NY Historic Bull's Bridge Kent CT Trail angel dropped me off on the north side of Guinea Brook. apparently that could be a tough water crossing after the recent storms Storm damage. What the heck am I getting myself into...
