Spring Skiing on Cypress

You can't ski right from the parking lot like I was able to do a few weeks ago 

I really like how the resort and BC Parks seem to leave you alone and let you ski these runs after the resort closes. The Whistler staff can be jerks sometimes. I get that it is private property but also little harm not always a foul...

I was surprised to see them snow plowing a route up the mountain. Seems like lots of work instead of just waiting a few weeks for the snow to melt. Not sure how much Cypress does in the summer for operations

It got rocky near the bottom so best to transition early. I remember a similar thing earlier in the season on the Roe Creek FSR
