Biking from Paradise Valley to Cheakamus Canyon

Mid Augut 2024 we biked a section of the Sea to Sky Trail from Paradise Valley Road to the heart of the Cheakamus Canyon.

Many other parties were doing the trail in its entirety and others a section from Squamish to Whistler with camping in between. Gravel bikes and hardtails were the most common.

I parked the car at Culliton Creek and cycled from there. Good choice considering the 2WD road deteriorated quickly and many people were car camping a rec site near the river.

This is an awesome route to bike and surprisingly not very busy (...yet). You get the feeling of being in a remote part of Squamish despite just being 1 valley over from the Sea to Sky highway.
