Last Turns of the 2017 Ski Season
I spent many weekends driving up the hill from the Bella Coola Valley to the Chilcoten Plateau at Tweedsmuir South Provincial Park. This day would have been my last time skiing for the 2017 ski season. A good way to spend April while everyone else had moved onto other things.
The official Rainbow Range parking lot wasn't plowed
I parked at the side of the highway and skied from there
This used to be a groomed and maintained trail earlier in the season before the recent snowfall

Leftover from the forest fires
Making way to the ski hill
Blisters from the warmer spring temperatures
Untouched pristine slope
Looking back toward the decommissioned rope toe
