ASCEND & WANDER

Another mini stay on the trip to Patagonia 2024, I arrived in GRU and got glimpses of the huge city. Now a major financial hub and emerging market in South America. Crazy drivers into the heart of the city then I walked to find a squash academy where I had pre arranged a lesson with the #3 guy in Brazil and his coach. These days were the first of a few smaller trips while on route to Patagonia 2024. My flight path was YVR to YUL then GRU then EZE and FTE. I had booked the multi city and was trying the sequence of taking my time exploring the places on route to my final destination. I am writing this from the middle of the trip in Puerto Natales Chile. Journey > destination? Walking the streets of downtown Montreal. I had packed my squash racquet on this trip and tried arranging a match with one of the local private clubs. No luck there emailing the pro back and forth but I showed up anyway and there was the MTL city league happening this Thursday evening. It was pretty cool getting some games in with the McGill club team. Long first day with the drive to Tremblant late in the evening.
