Hiking to Rawr Lake

Walking the logging road. To my surprise, there were about 5 cars at the little trailhead maybe 1km from the highway and our car was the only one left on the highway. I must be used to accessing this area from the winter only! Definitely makes me want to do more in the summer months here too... Maybe possibility for a 1 way and duffey pick up somehow?

First view of the alpine lake. Crystal clear cold water. And the campsite to the right. It was a pretty common spot with 3 tents pitched when we arrived and another party of 10 coming up in the afternoon from the road on our way down.

We turned around here. The GPS point I had saved was a little further ahead was where AB and I had stashed gear during our winter push to the summit. This also shows the reasonably straight forward route.
