Busan Terminal
Hakata Port International Terminal
Camelia Line Ferry from Fukuoka to Busan.
I had booked this ferry a few weeks in advance... still not sure how full these ferries got and whether that was necessary or not.
I was first one in the room and managed to grab a window seat
This ferry was awesome and even had a public bath like the onsen style. Quite a good way to relax. Food options were limited compared to the other Japanese ones I had sailed with in Okinawa. There was just a vending machine which shot out frozen meals. Many people were buying instant noodles and finding boiling water. I had unfortunately swapped out all my Japanese Yen prior but these only took that currency as the payment.
Garbage disposal from likely the previous ferry
Everyone meticulously lining their luggage in the hallways
Lighthouse when approaching Busan
The city skyline
Approaching the terminal and a main bridge for road traffic
Busan Station
I walked the side streets from the terminal to one of the night markets a few kilometers away
The terminal was a pretty busy area with lots of places to eat and more of a party vibe feel. I was also surprised to see lots of Eastern European and Russian influenced shops in the side streets
Busan Tower and Yongdusan Park
Street food at BIFF Square
Lots of stuff I didn't end up trying. Very cool city and good hiking around. That is the next day. Wahoo
